Meet Riley Miller, Bluestone’s first ever Community Champion!

Riley recognizes the importance of making his community a better place in more ways than one: each week, he promotes environmentalism and sustainability by collecting used cans and donating the money earned from recycling them to Whitman-Hanson Best Buddies. As a result, he helps create opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities!

In recognizing Riley as Bluestone’s inaugural Community Champion, the Bank proudly donated $2,500 to the Whitman-Hanson Chapter of Best Buddies, Riley’s non-profit of choice. This donation will help fund the program at Whitman-Hanson Regional High School, in addition to kickstarting Best Buddies at the district middle schools.
